OK so I thought It might be cool to find out what games people played the most of , doesnt have to be your fave or the best on the system just the thing you spent the most time on . I figured I would do this on a system by system basis and would start randomly so I have started with the AMIGA 500
This would be in the Top Five of Amiga games I heavily played back in the day.... A lot of my Amiga time went into in no specific order Stunt Car Racer, Shuffle Puck Cafe, A Rockstar Ate My Hamster, Moonstone and Elvira Mistress of the Dark..not the only games I played but the 5 I easily spent the most time on.
How about everyone else any Amiga Fans in the house, if not don't worry I will pick another random system out the bag soon.

The Amiga was the first computer that I bought - an Amiga 1200, in fact. I had a great time with it. It was a big step up from the Commodore 64 that I'd owned previously - arguably more from the point of view that it was functional in a way that I use a PC today - I installed a hard drive in it (a whole 120 Mb if memory serves ...), wrote my essays on it, etc.
As to the games, I'll go for the following:
Turrican (all of them, but especially II) Civilization Lemmings Worms X-It
I also played IK+ and Arkanoid: Revenge of Doh as well, but I thought I'd pass on those as these were not that different to the C64 versions.

Oh Lemmings would make it in my Top Ten of most played games... Worms and Turrican I don't remember playing on Amiga, I think I found them later, Worms on PC and PS1,Turrican on consoles.

The Amiga... my 2nd fave computer of all time. Spent far too much money on games (and blank disks) F1GP2 Lemmings Millennium 2.2 Superfrog Alien Breed SE But like most people, that'll change tomorrow!

Chaos Engine for me. Then Doom on my souped up A1200. Gloom, Alien Breed, Gods and Leander all got tons of hours of play racked up.

Speedball 2 i played a ludicrous amount. Predominantly on the Amiga, although the Megadrive version also sufficed.
IK+ probably got the 2nd most attention, Super Cars 2, Lotus 1 and then probably its follow-up.

I'm struggling to think of Amiga games I actually played a decent amount on an Amiga (instead of the ST versions).
Lemmings and Cannon Fodder must be pretty high up the list.

Yeah, Moonstone was brilliant! I'm sure it was a fave of Ants, so surprised he didn't mention it.

Nope, never played Moonstone. Didn't have time for adventures on Amiga as I only ever used someone else's for a couple of hours at any point.
Played quite a bit of some of the Lotus games.
OOh, I know - F/A-18 Interceptor. I liked me some flight sims back then, had loads on my C64, but this one was so fast.
See also Starglider 2.
Pinball Dreams/Fantasies.
If I'm allowed to sneak in one I played more on ST, then I played an absolute crapload of Elite II.

I am the reverse owned an Amiga only occasionally played an ST at someone elses house... in fact its weird how you see lots and few of diffrent machines growing up and you kind of thought that was the norm till the internet came around. In my social group like 8 out of 10 kids had Spectrums and 9 out of 10 had Amiga's so I really did think this was the norm, then the Internet comes about and I see all this C64 and Atari ST love and realise I was only kind of conscious of my own little bubble.

kerr9000 that’s a good topic in its own right - what did other people own in your youth? Because unlike now, when you can cherry pick the best games, you just saw what people had. I knew an ST owner, not a friend as such but someone I knew well enough to be invited round one day. Seeing a copy of Wizball, I was excited to play it, since it was my favourite game on the C64. And it was … not good. I did later play Railroad Tycoon on another friend’s ST, which was excellent, and a much better use of the machine.

I'd have put good money on you being the person I knew that had written an article or something on Moonstone! I may have completely lost it now
