This is how it looked I got it for £50, the CP didnt work and it had some awful Mario stickers on the side The Nintendo logo bit I kind of liked on it, but I'm never a fan of when people put characters on something then have the buttons and sticks coming out of there faces and crotches and stuff.

My band-mate in the 90s owned a videogame/pool table/jukebox supply company and loaned me a Jamma cab with Golden Axe and Metal Slug boards. It was great for showing off to friends in the games room but didn't get as much play time as I thought it would, tbh.

I was tempted to keep it, but the sticker was peeling

Now that is a place I'd love to for, if I ever get a games room a fixer upper Wurlitzer is one my list but for now I must settle for my Mini one.

I wouldn't mind one of those for my iPad pinball idea, just mod the controls and frame work into a more Pin table like form as theres nothing off the shelf to suit an iPad 2 and I'm not physically able anymore to try and design my own soloution.

The bug hath bitten me, I'm starting to like working on such things A guy I talk to who is cool converted one of these into his own special little arcade machine, it had a Pi inside and was really cool , here is a pic... He did it as a project and posted what he was doing and how it went like every step of the way, it would be cool to see you show us how it goes for you.

One of the guides im follow says to "Use an iPad" but just the screen and connect it via a PCB converter thingy. Works out a bit more than getting a full screen kit off Ebay. Unsure of the quality on that one My screen is going for portrait, im going for the whole Early era games, I wont be needed all the buttons. I have done pictures of my progress with other things ive been working on Barcade RED is mostly done, needs a longer playtest, I was having problems with NG games. Same with the MUGEN bartop I made, im calling that one DONE

For all of the shiny retro gaming temptations out there, the only thing that I keep thinking about is getting a MAME cabinet. Thing is, I'm so tweaked out when it comes to gadgets and tech, I absolutely have to research the topic to death. That's good though as it stops me making frivolous purchases. The idea of having a fully-loaded cabinet is definitely appealing but also feels like one of those things I wouldn't regularly use. So who has a cab on here? How much do you use it? Has it been worth it overall? I miss my cab all the time, it was boss.
