What's going on?
This is 2022 and we have Ninty Fresh, Sega Powered, Sega Mania, Pixel Addict and more. Could it really be a renaissance for printed media? I sure as sh1t hope so. I've always loved games mags and it's awesome to be buying them again.

Agreed. I just can't look at a phone or a tablet and read mags. It's got to be on paper or it's just not a mag!!
All the mags from Retro Fusion have been fantastic and I subscribe to Zzap!64 and Zzapp!Amiga.

There's another Amiga magazine too, Amiga Addict.
I haven't gotten round to it yet (I no longer have any amiga gear) but I think it's important to give props to fans who create these time consuming passion projects.
I still have issues 1 to 4 of Fusion mag. I remember buying the first issue at the Retro Ball in Coventry, way back in 2005.

I absolutely love that we are getting new mags, I find it hard to get the time to read everything! I get two fishing mags, three retro mags (RG, Sega Mania and SEGA Powered) and a daily newspaper. I would much much rather read something physical over on a screen.

Anything Playstation-related out there? I'd love a modern magazine for PS1/PS2 era stuff.

A few years ago I bought Amiga Joker 1/2017 and 1/2019. It was nice to read this magazine again after its demise in 1996. Its old staff was interviewed about odd decisions made in the past (awarding Rise of the Robots 91%, reviewing non-existent games) and they even reviewed a few new Amiga games.
And yes, a PlayStation 1-specific magazine in the Twenties would be great; I originally missed out the generation of 32-bit era consoles - too busy with girls and retrogaming.

Sadly, Sega Mania has ended. I received a subscription refund and an email announcing it.
Issues 1 through 7 were brilliant and they were just about to enter the Saturn era.
Bummer.

I had my subscription refunded too.
SEGA Powered seems to be going strong, well worth checking out.
