Any notable ones you can remember?
When I was in school, certain kids used to say that they had "clocked" a game once they'd beaten it. "Clocked" only seemed to hang around for a short while before disappearing from the daily slang.

There were loads in the early days, as the standard terminology hadn't been reached. We were making it up as we went along. Some terms would come and go, others stuck around. We still use 'shoot 'em up', which Jaz Rignall contracted to SHMUP in issues of Zzap! Once things got into print, it was easier to use that as a reference point when talking with others about games.
While 'lives' are now normal, it was common to refer to how many 'men' you had left. Single screens in games (levels) would often be referred to as boards.
One of the things I love about the Arcade Attack documentary is the language in it:

Funnily enough, I still hear "boards" being used in some American Youtube retro gaming videos, so not everybody has abandoned it.
Completely forgot about "men" too.

We used to say clocked but it was mostly in relation to Game & Watch games as when you hit 999, it went back to zero.

I've seen 'clocked' as a reference to both looping the available levels, and looping the score back to zero. If I heard someone say they clocked a game, I'd assume they'd played all the levels unless they specifically said they clocked the score. I could do both on Galaxy Twinvaders

A new one I have heard lately from some of the younger lads at work is "sweated"
As in, "yo, dude I absolutely sweated it last night on a major God of War sesh"

How many men have you got left?
A more recent one, which I cringe at, is 'pickups'.
Some good suggestions so far, I particularly like clocked and the logic it relates to going over 999 in a G&W game, but then it evolves in to meaning finishing a game.

I feel that the term "beaten", as in "beaten a game" seems more American to me. I'm sure we used to just call it "completed" back in the 80s/90s. Nowadays, most brits, including myself use the "beaten" term. Not heard "clocked" though in that context.

Nah, beaten was common in the UK. You'd beat a computer game, just like you'd beat someone in a race or beat another team in sports. 'Completed' is a bit uptight of a word for us as kids, we'd finish a game for sure, but not complete it.

Yeah, well I said "completed" in my youth, you jackass!
