I love Ghostbusters, but I refused to watch that cartoon as it called itself the "Real" Ghostbusters, when it clearly wasn't the real one at all. It was a cartoon based on the real one. I was so annoyed at the name that I didn't see a single episode.

As a kid I never would have thought I'd grow out of cartoons but they're all a hard watch now.
I can't even really stay engaged with Transformers: The Movie anymore.
Back in the day I was all over them. Transformers, He-Man, Turtles were all enjoyable. HATED Inspector Gadget. Absolute shite that. Could watch stuff like Dogtanian but not Cities of Gold. I'll tell you this, Ulysses 31 was a load of bollocks when I tried to rewatch it. Proper up its own arse that one.
Scooby Doo was always pretty good back then. Scooby Doo on Monster Island was a decent film too.
I miss the old school cartoons a bit. Road Runner, Tom and Jerry. When they still had violence in them.

As a kid I watched all of those mentioned above, but was also a huge fan of Star Fleet, absolute belter of a show! Manga-esque puppet show with a cool mecha robot! What's not to like!
And Scrappy Doo is a complete turd and ruins the program, it's best when it's just the original gang....

Scrappy Doo, Snarf, that little wizard thing from He-Man, the shitty unicorn from Dungeons and Dragons, Godzooki. Loads of shows had that nonsense.

7Zark7 from Battle of the Planets is an annoying twat too, but he's only there to break up the editing of the Japanese version of the cartoon where they cut out all the violent parts. They're all supposed to be for comic relief, but end up being annoying.

I have a big box set of Starfleet somewhere I grabbed it about 8 years ago and couldn't stop watching it episode after episode it was brilliant, id enjoyed it as a kid but I think I liked it even more watch it through as an adult.

I've been slowly rewatching the old Incredible Hulk (Bill Bixby, Lou Ferrigno) TV show on and off over the past year. Cheesy as hell for the most part but also good campy fun and I'll still take this version of the Hulk over anything Marvel Studios has put out.
I've gotten back into watching Terrahawks too, I forgot how many cool original ideas that had in it (like the main character Ninestein having clones on standby he can transfer his memories into if his existing body gets killed, and the Zeroids) and the theme tune's always been one of my faves.

Terrahawks was awesome, the good and bad robot circles and cubes fighting and the way they did O's and X's at the end was wicked.

Most Gerry Anderson shows are a good watch tbh, quasi-futuristic looking, plus it's fun finding all the daily household items they used to dress the set, like margarine tubs and things like that
I absolutely love Thunderbirds, and Captain Scarlett is a good watch too

Thundercats is my favourite retro cartoon. Anybody remember an old show called The Adventure Game? Celebs solving puzzles and trying to get across the vortex. Loved it. Doogy Rev. Also a fan of Maid Marion and her Merry Men. Crystal maze part was hilarious.
