You can't beat a bit of retro TV be it the shows the cartoons or even the commercials.
He_Man has already had a mention on this board so what else is everyone into from those glorious days.
I will start the ball rolling Transformers, nothing beats watching Optimus order the autobots to transform and roll out.

TMNT would be my fav of 80s cartoons. I'd have said Gargoyles if it was 90s.

I mean I liked most of the big ones but its the smaller ones I find myself being drawn to now. Like turtles has never been gone and He man makes regular appearances. Would love a remake of visionaries or bravestarr

Would love a remake of visionaries or bravestarr I cant believe Visionaries only got one season of 13 episodes it was a great show and I think given the whole premise it could have run for ages. bravestar was great I watched the film about a year ago... again I think it was an awesome idea for a cartoon.

Couldn't stand TMNT! Even as a kid I thought it was for kids Battle of the Planets and Scooby Doo were my two faves back then. Scooby Doo is still something I watch with the kids.

Fraggle Rock, and it still stands up today.
I loved Woof! about the boy who could turn into a dog.
Was there an 80s version of the Famous Five? I remember watching it but don't know if it was repeats.
Demon Headmaster was brilliant. I watched the first episode of the recent remake, and it was good too, although the Demon Headmaster didn't seem as scary. In the original, he fell over during a chase - it wasn't planned, but he got up and carried on, and the take made it to the series.
Knightmare.
Trap Door, Scooby Doo, Scooby & Scrappy, Danger Mouse...

Visionaries was by far my favourite. Think I bought the dvd at one point. Pretty sure that's one I would'e have gotten rid of so will have to show the bairns when they're old enough. Ulysses 31 also had one of the best theme tunes too. Another one I loved that rarely gets mentioned is Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, could never get enough of that.

I loved Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors remember watching it every Saturday needing to know what happened next, eventually I saw a DVD of it in a charity shop and grabbed it to learn it was a region 1 DVD, managed to grab all the episodes off it and convert them into Avi files

But I'd imagine it must be a mistake as no one likes Scrappy Doo

Scrappy is like one of those characters that appeals to you when your 5 but then you soon just want something to eat him, I feel the same about Snarf from Thundercats.
