Hi there. Does anyone know any retro racing games that has an anime style to it or that has anime cutscenes to it?

Shinseiki GPX: Cyber Formula was very Anime based on the SNES, it came out in America under the name Cyber Spin but not sure if they did anything to pull some of the anime stuff out of it which sometimes happened during translation.

Thank you for the suggestion. I remember this anime and I have added it on my list.

Ray Tracers on PS1 springs to mind. Oh I had forgot that one its cool Yeah, it's pretty simplistic but great fun. The gameplay and music just screams 90's Japanese arcade.
It's like a 3D Chase HQ with the ramming of enemies and anime characters popping up to speak. Unfortunately I have no idea what they are saying as my PS1 copy is a Japanese import (it was about £5 or something stupid like that).

Speaking of Chase HQ I love that blooming game.

Auto Modelista on the PS2 is fairly Manga Styled I really enjoyed that game. The cel-shaded look combined with real cars and circuits was just very unique.
Is it the game with a commentator that quickly gets annoying though? I seem to remember if you are racing badly and hitting stuff, the commentator says things like "Why are you so bad?" At least I THINK it was Auto Modelista.

I've not played it for years so can't remember the finer details, but I did love the way it looks, seemed pretty fast and smooth too from what I remember...and tunable Jap cars is a winner too
