I am hoping however somone comes up with a plug and play kit for a card reader on the Saturn without sacrificing the disc drive, that way I can have it plugged up but stashed to keep things easier. Google: 'Saturn Satiator' 🙂

Thats the right thing but the price Hopefully it gets cheaper or I get richer in the near future.

When you consider the fact that you'll never have to spend a single penny on another Saturn game again, it makes more sense. Panzer Saga? Radiant Silvergun? Deep Fear? Taromaru? Guardian Heroes? These alone would blast a 4-figure hole in your bank account.

Oh it's not that, its more I just cant justify that outlay these days even if it was mint copies of all of those games, when days were better that wouldn't have been a problem but now I have to be tighter with the purse strings.

Cost and storage space make emulation such a great option. I know the purists want the original stuff, and in a perfect world, that's great. Practicality and budget come into play.

I love the physical games I own but I would never fault anyone for how they play there games, Heck I emulate a lot of my games on a Chinese knock off handheld. I also think you have to take into account some of the Consoles and there media might break down or become to hard to maintain one day so having other ways to access the games is a good thing.

Both of those sacrifice the Disc drive which I do not want to do as long as it still works, dont mind the VCD card slot being used up but thats about it.

Yeah the SNES Mini is great, I filled mine with games I was looing at reviewing so I could play them more , Ive reviewed like 160 SNES Games so not enough to need a USB adding as ive just kind of cycled them out, its awesome that you can add translated roms and stuff on it.

Yeah the memory is decent. It was adding the gba games that made me upgrade to a memory stick Some of those files are hefty.

I tend to play those on my PowKiddy Q90 it just feels more natural to have them handheld.

Been thinking about picking one of them up. Mainly to try the eldest child with them before we splurge on a switch or something. Any good?

I found it really good for Megadrive, SNES ,GBA Mame sort of stuff. I made a review on it when I got it, which will show some of how it works and what you get... Mine was like £30 but I think there a little more now.
