Fortunately I own every console game I'd ever want. It's really more about space than money. I'd love to buy more arcade machines for games that never got a home version, but I'm running out of room.

Why not build a small Mame cab, dependant on the guts it shouldn't take too much space and could cover multiple arcade platforms meaning you need only have 1 cab.

I'd dearly love a few more "long box" 3DO titles to add to my collection. But even the truly dire games that came.in them go for a pretty penny these days. Oh, and a Vectrex. Are any of these ones worth anything? I didn't start collecting because I thought it may be worth something one-day, I genuinely love collecting stuff in general! View AttachmentI'd love to own a NEO GEO of any original model, I have a Gold version, the one that opens up and has a hand held unit inside, but even those are expensive now. I narrowly missed out on a Sony TV with the PS2 built in, but at the time I had nowhere to store it. Microcosm is worth between £30-£100 depending on condition and what the buyer will pay. VR Stalker (a truly terrible game), £35-£50ish.

Most of the Tabletop Arcade stuff and G&W stuff, just can't justify the cost for something that is realitively simple. Thats a great call, I'd forgot about the old stand alones- I did indeed collect G&W for years, picking them up dirt cheap from op shops and garage sales....but the online markets just made the prices soar. I admit I made the most of that and sold them off, keeping only two really nice boxed ones. DK Hockey and Snoopy Tennis are the only two I kept, the Snoopy Tennis one for sentimental reasons.

I've got a single one, Scramble, it's non working (sold as untested) and was about £20 still, it could be dirt or oxidisation in the contacts or it could be a duff transistor but a full working one can be much worse although in hindsight may have better from a time fettling point of view.

I've got a few of the table top style games too. Astrowars was always a favourite of mine, I used to have competitions with my mum to see who could get the highest score.

My mate I believe still has his Grandstand Munchman, it had been bought from a bootsale years ago for a pittance and was one of the toys his Nan kept at her house (not that it was a problem as she was 2 doors away) naturally being a Pac Man clone I was crap at it but thats when I realized they weren't like the LCD ones of my youth (although I still miss them) but that much cooler. Didn't find others until I was an adult and couldn't justify the price until I saw fixer uppers so I took a punt on that one as an unknown but didn't get lucky but I'll fix it eventually, just need to hope I can deal with the shakes if I'm soldering.

One-day I'll get an 'all together' shot, but they're scattered around in storage and at home! Only 'group picture' I have of anything is my RC cars.

All my R/Cs are scattered, really wouldn't mine getting atleast the Falcon back going as been years since I stored it, theres a Nikko Champion kart in the queue with Scramble, runs but I need to recreate the pedals and part of the drivers foot and I may consider a radio upgrade as it doesn't steer under throttle.

Most of the stuff I collect is stored away in a container in the middle of nowhere. I used to have it all set-up around my nan's house, but when she passed away, we had to clear the house out. After considering several storage options, a container was by far the cheapest and biggest solution. I'm hoping to get it all sorted out one-day, with decent racking down one side and a workbench area near the front so I have a 'man cave' again! Here's a pic of some of my RC cars:

I don't have quite that many but I've got a Falcon, Boomerang (needs work), Madfighter (needs a gearbox) and Vanessa's Lunchbox Tamiya wise, always wanted a TT-01 or its predecessor that I cant remember the name of with either the 99 wrc Focus, 155 DTM or Lancia delta in Martini livery but never got to it.
Thanks to the spinal injury I'm stuck in the box room of my Parents house so my stuffs out in sheds (there mast be about 10 of various small sizes), the loft, under my bed, above my wardrobe and possibly in the Garage with my full size car, the 2002 E46 M3, which will have been sat 3 years in January. One day I might get lucky and get the NHS to finally do something to fix it, given its 4 years nearly since I got hurt.

Seeing as Elliott Cole of YouTube fame has just bought one, it's reminded me I really REALLY want a Panasonic Q, but these are stupidly expensive!

Plus having an M3 sat there, waiting for you to hoon around in her again can't be good either! That pic posted above was most of my RC cars that I had on display at my nan's house, I had others in the 2 lofts her house had, some were toy grade ones though. I've added about another 6-8 in the last few years, however they are still in need of building or re-building. I have 2 Lancia Delta's, one is the original one I bought when I was 16 on a TA-01 chassis. Didn't take me long to destroy the shell, so that was replaced with an Escort Cossie shell when funds allowed, but now she's restored to her former glory. If you get the chance, have a look on Tamiya Club, lots of really helpful and friendly guys on there, and quite often a lot of parts for sale too!

I think I was a member there some years ago, wether or not my accounts still any good I don't know but I probably wont be running anything anytime soon as I can't reach down to solve flips or crashes and the Batteries will be toast so it'll be finding funds for a new set up in that sense too. I will get back to it someday though, maybe see if I can teach my Niece to drive them when she's old enough, start her on toy grade though before letting her loose on the Tamiyas or heaven forbid the Nitro buggy which can break ankles.

I spent a fair degree of time stuck in rooms and learning to walk again after I was hit by a car, it smashed my ankle and shoved the bone through the skin, I had to have it re-broken and then plating put either side of it and then learn to walk again. Most of my stuff is at my Dads, I live 50% of the time at my Dads in a big attic bedroom/flat and 50% at my Fiancee's parents house as both me and her have a fair few disability needs, her legs grew wrong and she had to have multiple surgery's to break one and reset it and then do it again and then have a metal external frame fixed to it that had bolts that went through her flesh into the bone, she has had like 6 years of operations on her leg and its not properly better, there considering framing her other leg and shes considering telling them to get stuffed... She cant work and I work part time as If I stand for too long my ankle swells stupidly, plus I am an epileptic and suffer from PTSD.
