Doom.
It's taken decades for me to admit it, I fought hard, using the excuse of 'depends when you ask me' regarding it being Doom or SFIIce when I'm playing them. Now it has been confirmed that over the last decade or so I have played Doom far more than I have SFII.
Much like The Lost Boys is my fave movie of all time but Jaws is the greatest. Doom is now confirmed as the greatest and SFIIce my favourite.
I thought I'd help out the forum because my other posts have been 'answer this question plz' then I duck off.

Agreed totally on Doom (90s Doom). Whilst Wolfenstein came first, Doom is what really blew up the FPS genre + the community behind it exists to present day which not many other games has.
To this day I still check out a new Doom TC mod every now and then.

Wizball! (C64 version)
Well, it's what I said for many years, before modern gaming brought us such complex and sophisticated worlds that they became essentially incomparable with games from the 80s. Just trying to compare the likes of a Red Dead Redemption, Nier: Automata, Persona 5, or suchlike, is impossible.
But I still go back to Wizball just because at the time, it seemed like the most distilled form of playability imaginable in a game. Pure shooting fun. I remember sitting down to play it at a retro event a few years ago (in Manchester, I think), and I just ended up spending 2 hours playing it to completion. Again.

Obvious troll is obvious. Wizbollock is the most overrated game of all time (marginally beating out The Last of Us).

The best Game ever for me has to be Xcom UFO Defence AKA Xcom Enemy Unknown (The original although I do like the remake)

I've only ever played and completed the PS1 version of Doom but it was awesome, especially the soundtrack for that version which was quite atmospheric (that bit that sounded like crying babies).
Sold a lot of my PS1 collection, and only have a very small drawer of games now, but I still have it.

Sorry, I should have been more specific, the PlayStation 1 version of Doom is the greatest game of all time, it is flawless and better than the PC version in every single way. It also includes one of the hardest secret levels to access of ALL TIME (imo), requiring a backwards, side strafe around a corner before the door closes. Outstanding. In related news, I'm always on the look out for Final Doom (PS1), just for my collection. It was good but it was no Doom.

The PS1 version of Final Doom is disappointing. It's only got 6 of the 32 Plutonia levels with the balance made up of a selection from Master Levels and TNT Evilution, and what there is has been edited for performance. Ah well, at least it supports mouse controls.
These days I mostly play Doomsday Engine with Doom Metal as the soundtrack.

Tough one for me, but either Bad Company 2 or Skyrim.
Sadly, BC2 isn't active on Xbox anymore - but, man, I loved that.
Skyrim - well, I'm playing again on Switch....

Golden Axe (arcade) was my first thought but Sega Rally on the Saturn is probably what I'd put forward as the Greatest of All Time.

Hmmmm. Greatest game of all time?
Tis a tricky one. Sometimes I'll swear blind it's Streets Of Rage 2. Others, I'll happily go to bat for Mario Kart.

Despite preferring the Spectrum overall, I cannot deny the greatness of PARADROID on the C64. So good, has to be a rightful contender of best ever of any system. A quite fantastic creation.
Too many games on the Best list will be solely due to their appearance. Granted, so many look good but gamewise leave we cold. Old games can look mediocre, but play a dream. And it's how they play that should take the honours. LORDS OF MIDNIGHT on the Spectrum is astonishing for the system, and despite being pretty static to look at is a thoroughly engrossing game, worthy of its own place on the list. But it doesn't best Paradoid. Nothing does, really.
Well, maybe SENSIBLE WORLD OF SOCCER on the Amiga. Cripes, which do I now choose: SWOS or Paradroid? <tossescoin>
