I think I have two of the other Guild Series games, one is Attack of the Friday monsters or something. I didn't realise they were the same makers. I have The Starship Damrey and Attack of the Friday Monsters. I must get around to trying them! I thought The Starship Damrey looked especially intriguing. They're from different developers. The whole idea was that Level 5 would give them a free rein to pursue original ideas, and most of them took it.
I don't think it was much of a financial success, unfortunately, as we only got seven games.
It's only really been the closing down of the 3DS eShop that's propelled them to the notoriety they deserved. Liberation Maiden got a port to iOS, in Japanese language only, but the rest of them are going to go down with the ship.

I fired up the Xbox 360 yesterday for the first time in a while and all the old XBLIG stuff no longer works. That's brutal.

I've come a cropper with DLC stuff seems daft in some respects as the files are literally there already (although I know its not always the case) but without the DLC being bought they won't unlock, prime example atm is Forza MS6, cut off a great chunk behind a paywall (everything missing bar a few cars too new is avalible in 3 without DLC) but leave no means to obtain it even though I brought the special edition XBone for it brand new back in about 2015.

I had an issue with one of the WWE games where I owned all the bonus stuff but it didnt appear to be available for download anymore, thankfully I found it on an old Hardrive and added it to both my Xbox Series S and X

Street Fighter X Tekken is a prime example. There was a DLC bundle for about 10 or more characters and somebody cracked the game code, revealing that all of the characters were already on the disc. It was a pretty big scandal at the time.
