I'm not actually playing anything at all currently  I am listening to one of my sons clacking his Guitar Hero guitar 24/7 playing Clone Hero on PC. He's the top player in the UK  It's insane watching him  How did I not know about Clone Hero? I have Ultrastar Deluxe, which is a Singstar clone with loads of ripped/homebrew tracks, I've been looking for a GH/Rock Band clone for years but they never seemed to get anywhere decent. Frets on Fire was the last viable sort of one I saw. I can hear my son clacking away right now! I'll see if I can find his Youtube channel... Recently finished A Way Out. Co-op prison escape game that came out a couple of years ago. It's a bit rough around the edges but the story was decent and the pacing wasn't too bad.

I play the Retro Gaming League games every week, so Rex (Spectrum) and Blue Print are the last two I played, but apart from that I've been working my way through ALL the Vic-20 games I can find. It's been great. Lots of excellent games I'd never played before as I didn't buy expensive cartridge games in 1982/3, so missed out on some really good cartridge games. I've been recording a lot and sticking them on YouTube which has been fun. Still plenty to go, I think.

Finished Pokemon Red a few days ago. Trashed the Elite 4 on my first try and caught Mewtwo afterwards but you forget how little post-game content there is in the very first gen so I think I'm done.
I DID spend an absolute age grinding out EXP to get Dragonair to Lv.55 so it evolved into Dragonite, but I did this before challenging the E4 as I actually wanted to use Dragonite, not just acquire it for the Pokedex (which I can't be bothered to complete anyway, since I can't trade with anyone lol).
Final team was Blastoise, Dragonite, Arcanine, Rhydon, Zapdos, and Kadabra which pretty much covered all bases, especially once I'd used a few TMs.

I picked this up years ago - however, a recent holiday saw me take my 3ds away with me and I've had a great time playing this.

Currently:
Super Mario RPG (SNES) - my first time playing through it properly and having a lot of fun.
Star Melody Yumemi Dreamer (Switch) - weird magical girl themed VN with turn based battles and rhythm action minigames, the story's got me invested though...some real grim and dark stuff in it.
Trigger Witch (Switch) - basically a cross between a traditional Zelda style action adventure and Enter The Gungeon. With witches. And nice pixel art style visuals.

Recently got back into playing a few games post a hernia op, and currently enjoying the Assassins creed ones I never played in the day. AC2 certainly seems the best, but currently playing IV, and quite enjoy the different style with the open Pirate game aspect.
For a fast blast Williams Pinball Classics on XB360 I've been getting into

Still annoys me that this was only ever released on the DC for home, and nowhere else. I do still prefer the sequel (I have the properly optimised NTSC-J PS2 port) but the original has some amazing music, hand-drawn stages (they were 3D in CvSNK2), and the interesting ration system.
Okay, it was also released on PS1 but I can't fully count that version. It has intrusive load times and loses animation frames as well as general visual/audio quality due to the PS1's limitations. I did own it at one point, and it is a decent achievement given how the PS1 famously struggled with 2D fighters vs Saturn/Dreamcast, but I could never fully enjoy it.
Can't justify the space for another Dreamcast though.

In a completely unexpected twist, I find myself a new owner of a second-hand Xbox One. My step son was selling it to fund upgrades for his gaming PC, it's currently sitting in the place my PS4 inhabited until this very morning. So far I've played OG Xbox Panzer Dragoon Orta (who knew it could upscale like that??) and Forza Horizon 3 (incredible).
I'm still working my way through my PS3 pile of shame, though. Skate 2 is up next.

Its just some interesting potential opportunities for AI and automation to help and free humans in the future, rather than enslave us. We need General Zod to implement it.
