I'm currently obsessed with my RP2+ machine.
The PSP emulation is stunning, as is the DC emulation. Obviously, everything before it is smooth as butter and the machine even has a brave effort at running Gamecube and PS2 titles.
So far I've had success with Gamecube Conan, Burnout 2, Turtles 3 and PS2 Maximo and Crash Bandicoot (4?). Tbh, there's more PS2/GCN titles that don't run well than do, but there's seemingly loads of updates coming. It's a pretty cool time for emulation, it feels like.

Never heard of it! But I've been somewhat out of Retro (and modern) gaming for some time. I'm trying REALLY hard to regain my enjoyment of gaming.
I'll have a look at the RP2+ though. I'm guessing its a portable system?

It's a handheld, bud. Small and cheap but very powerful for the money.

If I was on my laptop right now I'd link a photo. Retroid Pocket 2 Plus.

Here's Taki Udon's video from back when it first launched:
It's definitely still the most capable emulation handheld for its price range and also in terms of what might fit in your pocket, as it's only the size of a regular phone.

The whole experience is pretty easy. However, there's a thousand YouTube step by step guides if you're stuck.
I cant big the machine up enough.

Mind your sd card too bud!
If you're downloading ps1 or gamecube games you'll fill the storage in no time.
I'm using a 256gb card and it's rammed full. I use the internal storage for everything up to n64 and micro sd for the big files.

Yes, it takes regular MicroSD cards.
The adapter is for use on PCs that don't have a card reader built in.
In practice, I've never had to take the card back out to transfer anything. You can just plug it into your PC for that like you would a phone.

I find my sd card in the card reader has faster transfer rates than the supplied cable (leaving the card in the machine) when copying games to it from my laptop.

Might have to look at this! I do fancy some DC and 32bit gaming on the go.
Does it do much Saturn or is that platform still borked for emu (as people have been saying for years)?

Saturn emulation is probably better than you think, but still nowhere near as good as for the PS1 or N64. Lots of games run at full speed and with upscaling but you're a long way short of being able to play everything and there's also the button layout to contend with. I'd tend to see it as a nice bonus rather than a reason in itself. You can check out the compatibility sheet for it and other systems here:
